Golf EquipmentGolf equipment, Where would we be without it? Over the years golf equipment has improved dramatically. As the sport has originated back to the 1297 more equipment has been invented and used in our current lifetime. We have to remember golf would have originally started with a stick and a leather ball, and to see what the equipment is like now is amazing.The equipmentGolf equipment now is very important to any player of the sport “golf” it consists of many types of items. These items include: golf balls, clubs, ball markers, tees, golf bag, golf cart, towels, club head covers, ball mark repair tool, and many other golfing aids. A large majority of golfers will have all major required equipment.The Importance of the equipmentWhy is the equipment important? Golfers need to have all the required equipment to play golf; these include all the types of golf clubs. The types of clubs are: Wood, Iron, Hybrids, putters and chippers. Usually a golfer will have a minimum of 5 clubs; these are certain requirements to play golf as each club has a major use around the course of golf. Golfing clubs are made out of different materials and it’s down to the player’s preference to which they prefer, taking into consideration the strength of their swing. Another example would be the golf balls; golf balls are designed and aimed for different types of golfers I.E for recreational and advanced players; however without the tee you will be unable to strike the ball without removing a large piece of turf from the green. Other equipment would be the golf bag and golf cart, which were created and designed to help make life easier for the players moving around the course. Finally another important aspect of the golfing equipment will be the golfing shoes. Golf shoes have been created with spikes attached to the soles; this was invented so the player can keep his/her balance during a swing.ConclusionOverall all golfing equipment has its own importance to fulfil the player’s enjoyment and commitment to the game.
